Lost In The Dark

We poor humans...
All... so lost.
All... wandering... wandering...
Some... see some light...
And cling to it... and believe...
Some... see no light at all...
And learn to just... feel their way in the dark...
and hopelessly hope... just for warmth.
And the dark... is cold...
Both... these...
Still... lost...
But... those in the dark...
sink... waddle... cope...
And those in the light...
have courage... hope... patience.
Both... lost...
but one... closer to home.
