Dark Ages

1970's

The world is a graveyard
Forget no one's pain
We come from a void
To be buried again.

To be tortured and saddened
To become happy again
But in a world that's a graveyard
Forget no one's pain.

Sightless, we were blinded
The grief, we endured
Til time's hand would comfort
Til love came and cured.
Forever we wander, to find no true home
Forever we stomach the lives we have known.

The world is a graveyard
Forget no one's pain
While heaven stretches onward
Its endless domain
We fall by the wayside...
Living in torment
And dying in vain.
