        Cora was only 14 when she lost her mother
        Allen and cousin, Arthur Harlan, operated well digging company for two years. In 1880 he bought land near Edison, NE. He was a Republican and became Director of the school district and was instrumental in the building of a new school house. Married later in life. They moved to Corvallis, OR in 1905 but returned after 6 months.
After Allen's death, Cora married again to Alvin Levi of Edison, NE in 1916. They lived in that area until 1922 when they also decided to move to Oregon. They went to Ontario, OR but moved in 1926 to Los Angeles, CA area. She was reared in the Church of God, but later affiliated with First Christian Church in Compton where she and her daughter resided until 1963.

        Hugh Jr., m.2) Alice Elfreda Mues Fisher 1955;
Alice's former husband Charles Fisher died in 1947 and they had five children. She was the daughter of the Fred Mues' near Edison. She was district representative for a health food product and traveled a great deal. She died of a heart attack while enroute to her home from one of her trips. Her sons were: Paul, Robert, James, and one daughter Erma.
