Hannah Harlan 1849-1931
1849 - Born April 16, 1849 in Randolph Co., Indiana
1869 - March 13, 1869 married H. B. Cramer, farmer, in Hardin Co., Iowa.
Cramer was the son of John and Elizabeth Cramer
1880
After living on various farms in Iowa, the Cramers moved to Furnas Co., NE in 1880.
They entered under the Homestead Act a quarter section of land. The area was sparcely
settled. During the first three years the country was afflicted with a severe drought and
they had to endure many hardships. As the years went by they overcame these and prospered.
1903 - In the summer of 1903 the family joined the others in Corvallis, OR, where
they bought five acres of land. H.B. and Hannah lived there until their children had gone,
then moved to Gresham to be near them.
