Elizabeth Jane, 1862-1944; m. John H. Adams 1886; 7 children

1862 Elizabeth was born March 28, 1862 in Kokoma, Tipton Co., Indiana
1864 "Lizzie" was age two when her family moved to Gifford, Iowa where she attended public schools and Drake University.

1885 She came to Furnas Co., NE in 1885 and taught school for five years.

1886 She married John H. Adams May 23, 1886. John was born Dec. 7, 1864
Lizzie and John farmed 80 acres in Furnas Co.

1905 They also moved to Oregon. They lived on a farm 5 miles north of Hendley or 10 miles NW of Beaver City.

1944 Lizzie died May 15 in Holbrook, NE
1945 John died November 9.

Elizabeth was the last living member of the family of twelve children.
