Cyrus Ashley, 1887-1950; m. Ula Drinkwater 1909; 1 child
        Cyrus graduated from Oregon State College in 1907 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Literary Commerce. After graduation he was employed in banks as a teller before moving from Burnes to Crane, OR. to open a general merchandise store. Many of his customers were big cattle ranchers who carried a lot of credit until the yearly shipment of cattle. So when the depression hit, the cattle country went broke, along with C.A. Harlan Merchandise Co. After that he was an auto mechanic, establishing his own auto repair shop in Toledo, OR.
