Simple Folk

1996

Simple folk don't dream real big
They know their reality
There's dignity just in being a mother or father
Working and making a home
They don't harbor grandious ideas
Of fame and fortune
They shy away from flattery
Harden themselves against insult
Sometimes meeting their own
Simple expectations of themselves...
Sometimes... not.
