My Crystal Ship

1970's

It's morning in my crystal ship
And time to be a' rowing
Today will be tomorrow's trip
And yesterday's a' growing

I sing the sign "don't rock my boat
It's yours that needs the mending,"
This is the way I learned to float
But I'm open for befriending.

It's true this little crystal ship
Was once somebody's ark
(It's not so good in flooding death
But it's glowing in the dark).

Watch for my wandering crystal ship
Til it finds its crystal land
And help it keep its crystal dreams
Of a purely crystal man.
