Millions of people sitting at home
Waiting for the tide to turn
Wishing things were still the same
Deaf to things they need to learn
And don't know it.
Millions of skeletons useless and tired
Remembering a dream they might have had
Knowing tomorrow comes only too late
And living was only a fad
When they had it.
Millions of coffins covered with dirt
Planted to grow us a freedom
All the good causes have died giving birth
With those who wanted to see them
But stepped on somebody's toes.
